Location Description:
This was a former NATO headquarters owned by the british:
JHQ Rheindahlen (Joint Headquarters Rheindahlen) was a large military base located in Mönchengladbach-Rheindahlen, Germany. Built in the early 1950s, it served as the main headquarters for several NATO and British military commands during the Cold War, including the British Army of the Rhine (BAOR), the Northern Army Group (NORTHAG), RAF Germany (RAFG), and the Allied Rapid Reaction Corps (ARRC).
At its peak, the base was home to around 12,000 people, including military personnel and their families. It functioned like a small town, with schools, shops, medical facilities, churches, and recreational areas.
JHQ Rheindahlen was targeted by IRA bomb attacks in 1973 and 1987, which led to increased security. Following the end of the Cold War, the British gradually withdrew, and the base was officially closed in 2013.
Since its closure, parts of the site have been used for refugee housing and police training. Plans are underway to redevelop much of the area into natural parkland and preserve parts of its history.

Backpack

At 300$, this backpack is certainly not one of the cheapest backpacks, but we can say with a clear conscience that it is money well spent. It is well produced, has some well thought-out functions and still looks nice. Despite the high price, this backpack also has 4.5 stars out of 300 Amazon reviews.
4-Gas Monitor

A 4-gas monitor detects and measures not only carbon monoxide but also the levels of oxygen, combustible gases and hydrogen sulphide and ensures safety in hazardous environments by indicating dangerous gas concentrations. Highly recommended especially in bunkers and places where there is not much fresh air
