Location Description:
Abandoned/Stripped/Ready for Demolition
Security (as of September 2025) is non-existent, although an individual of unknown association did say the building is private property but only said be careful if entering. No fences, windows are boarded and doors were once barred, although many POE have been pried open.
There is basically nothing inside other than walls and remnant utilities, even then that’s debatable. Vandals or work crews are torn just about everything out, drywall is removed or cut at floor level all over, drop ceilings are removed partially or fully, HVAC is torn out or hanging, there are piles of pipe insulation and unvaluable scrap all over the underground section. There was once a significant fire in part of the building, char is visible from outside and the effected part of the building still smells burnt.
Hallways are winding and there are holes cut through walls in places with other doors and stairwells boarded up or crammed with scrap, easy to get turned around and potentially lost. Lots of floor vents on ground level and some in basement without registers, potential tripping hazard.
Some drains might still work, but there is a high likelihood of flooding, especially in the mechanical/boiler room as it is the lowest point in the building (technically basement level 2). Airflow could be of concern. Supposedly the homeless like to take refuge in the building but I did not encounter anyone nor see signs of recent refuge, although I was warned they may leave traps behind.
Building is connected via underground passage to an active adjacent building, although the stairwell is barricaded.

Backpack

At 300$, this backpack is certainly not one of the cheapest backpacks, but we can say with a clear conscience that it is money well spent. It is well produced, has some well thought-out functions and still looks nice. Despite the high price, this backpack also has 4.5 stars out of 300 Amazon reviews.
4-Gas Monitor

A 4-gas monitor detects and measures not only carbon monoxide but also the levels of oxygen, combustible gases and hydrogen sulphide and ensures safety in hazardous environments by indicating dangerous gas concentrations. Highly recommended especially in bunkers and places where there is not much fresh air
