Location Description:
Colonia Beretta stands abandoned on a narrow mountain road, wedged between a ski area and a decommissioned NATO outpost. The two-story timber house leans crookedly on its foundation, its walls weather-worn and pockmarked with cracks. Inside the ground floor, shattered floorboards give way to pockets of snowmelt. Rusted skis and a scattered row of ski boots lie haphazardly near an old stove, its enamel chipped and its flue pipe broken. Pale daylight filters through empty window frames, casting sharp shadows across debris.
Although the first floor remains accessible, climbing the staircase is ill-advised: the floor half-collapsed long ago, and and rotted wood block the way. A little staircase in the floor leads to a damp cellar where the corroded remnants of a heating boiler sit among dripping pipes and tangled roots. The air here smells of mildew and cold metal.
If you push on up the mountain road, you’ll reach the barred entrance to the NATO outpost—another ruin of concrete and rusted framework. On my last visit, the road was closed, preventing further exploration. I’ll return another day to see what’s left of the outpost.
Colonia Beretta is a stark, adventurous relic: stripped of comfort, it invites explorers to uncover its quiet, frozen secrets.

Backpack

At 300$, this backpack is certainly not one of the cheapest backpacks, but we can say with a clear conscience that it is money well spent. It is well produced, has some well thought-out functions and still looks nice. Despite the high price, this backpack also has 4.5 stars out of 300 Amazon reviews.
4-Gas Monitor

A 4-gas monitor detects and measures not only carbon monoxide but also the levels of oxygen, combustible gases and hydrogen sulphide and ensures safety in hazardous environments by indicating dangerous gas concentrations. Highly recommended especially in bunkers and places where there is not much fresh air
